The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 240ml

A daily-use chemical exfoliating toner built around 7% glycolic acid — the smallest and most potent of the alpha-hydroxy acids. Glycolic acid dissolves the bonds holding dead skin cells together at the surface, accelerating natural cell turnover to reveal smoother texture, brighter tone, and a softer appearance of fine lines over time. The formula is supported by aloe vera and ginseng root for added soothing and radiance, plus a Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative known to reduce the irritation that often accompanies acid use.

The pH is calibrated to approximately 3.6 — the optimal balance for glycolic acid effectiveness without unnecessary irritation. Sun sensitivity warning: AHAs increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight and the risk of sunburn, both during use and for one week after stopping. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential. Conflicts: do not use in the same routine as direct acids, retinoids, peptides or pure / ethylated Vitamin C — combine these in separate AM/PM applications. Not for use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin.
